Fishing the Owyhee river

The Owyhee River, north of the Owyhee Dam in Eastern Oregon, has been described as a fly fisherman's dream. The Owyhee offers year-round (catch and release) fly fishing and is most widely recognized for its world-class brown trout fishing. Rainbow trout are also common. With the right know-how, you could bring in a 20-30 inch brown trout on a dry fly that you'll be talking about for a lifetime.

We've partnered with some of the best, most experienced guides and educators who not only know the Owyhee River inside-out, but are expert entomologists and fish biologists as well. Feel free to reach out to them directly.
